Purple Songs CD

Purple Songs is Canadian Su Alexanian’s full-length debut, available now on Sextant/EMI records.

Nothing Can Stop Us is the first single. The recording was inspired by a story Bill Dillon (Daniel Lanois, U2, Peter Gabriel, Sara McLachlan, Joni Mitchell) told one day about the plunderphonics employed by Beatles’ producer George Martin on Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

"For all the sonic sugar underneath the voice, the lyrics are still the most important thing."—su alexanian
